Description of problem:
My laptop completely freezes within 10-20 minutes after I enable 3D effects on my desktop. I'm using fedora 8 as told above, and my graphics card is an Nvidia GeForce Go 6150.

Nothing is shown in /var/log/messages

Always


Steps to Reproduce:
1.Enable 3D effects
2.Wait for 10-20 minutes
3.System completely freezes

Actual Results:
System freezes, the mouse stops responding as well. Nothing is outputted to /var/log/messages

Expected Results:
The system should have continued to run smoothly.

We can't fix bugs in the nvidia driver.
