Description Josh Lange 2008-05-07 23:31:14 UTC
Description of problem:
The bonobo activation server stays open after a gnome session is closed.

This clutters up the running processes a bit, especially on multi user systems

OS: Fedora 9 Preview

output:
#################someuser logs in ###########
.....
#################someuser logs out ###########

[root@glinda /]# ps -eaf |grep someuser
someuser   6602     1  0 16:20 ?        00:00:00
/usr/libexec/bonobo-activation-server --ac-activate --ior-output-fd=13
root      7113  6016  0 16:21 tty1     00:00:00 grep someuser
[root@glinda /]#

what versin of libbonobo?

Should be fixed in the latest version in rawhide:

* Tue Apr 29 2008 Ray Strode <rstrode> - 2.22.0-2
- Take name on message bus to tie activation server to desktop session

Comment 2 Josh Lange 2008-05-08 01:40:48 UTC
Ah, sorry about that: libbonobo-2.22.0-1
