You have to press and hold the "Turn off computer" button in the logout dialog and the options will show up. Ah, now I see the down arrow. Thanks. If you're interested in feedback, I don't think that's obvious enough. I know that we'd like to figure out ways to simplify guis and that figuring out how all the various goodbye options should work is difficult. I don't have a simple solution and I think that in this case, the best thing to do here is show all the options as separate buttons. My understanding is that the suspends are still kinda flaky on a significant number of machines so it would probably make trouble to hide power off and have one of them be the "default". But hiding the suspends too well reduces the number of people who will use those features and they are important time and energy saving features. Well, suggestions for UI changes are best directed to the (upstream) KDE project (probably on their mailing lists, it doesn't really belong into a bug report). We probably won't make changes like that in a Fedora-specific patch. fwiw, also right click on kpowersave in systray, gives Suspend options as well. |
