Description Rajith Attapattu 2008-05-20 19:58:40 UTC
--version only gives the major revision number.
Ex. currently it gives 0.2 but there are several 0.2-x versions and it is
difficult to figure out which one it is.

I think it's useful to have this feature to easily figure which version the
customer is using rather than asking them to query the rpm version.
If we are unable to add the rpm version in the qpidc.spec.in in Qpid svn, then
we should include the svn revision at the least. This way --version will give
more meaningful results.

Nobody really seems to need this.
