Description of problem:
The ftp file transfer of whole directories containing more than one file fails.
The error is "Datei nicht verfügbar" which means something like "File not
available".

Reproducible here, raising severity as this is a major issue.

Fix for Samba shares should be included in updated gvfs-0.2.4-1 package.
Fix for FTP is under development and will be available soon.

gvfs-0.2.4-3.fc9 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 9

gvfs-0.2.4-3.fc9 has been pushed to the Fedora 9 testing repository.  If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
 If you want to test the update, you can install it with 
 su -c 'yum --enablerepo=updates-testing update gvfs'.  You can provide feedback for this update here: http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/F9/FEDORA-2008-5197

gvfs-0.2.5-1.fc9 has been pushed to stable, which includes this fix.
