Reproducible here, raising severity as this is a major issue. Thanks for the link to Gnome bugzilla. Fix for Samba shares should be included in updated gvfs-0.2.4-1 package. Fix for FTP is under development and will be available soon. gvfs-0.2.4-3.fc9 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 9 gvfs-0.2.4-3.fc9 has been pushed to the Fedora 9 testing repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. If you want to test the update, you can install it with su -c 'yum --enablerepo=updates-testing update gvfs'. You can provide feedback for this update here: http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/F9/FEDORA-2008-5197 Well this has been pushed to stable, hasn't it? So I'd say it can be closed. gvfs-0.2.5-1.fc9 has been pushed to stable, which includes this fix. |
