I don't know much about this except it don't work. :)

The new 2.2.11 kernel includes a new 16 colour frame buffer
for the console that among other niceness gives a boot logo
to non-vesa2 compliant cards.  But at boot time it eats the
colours of the OK/WARNING/FAILURE messages from the init
scripts. Green comes out white - yellow and red come out
kinda brownish.

Actually even afer we've settled into a runlevel and have
logged into a VT the colours are still strange.  For insance
an "ls --color" shows the same brownish non-colours.

I don't think it can be anything serious becuase if I run
"reset" it all comes good. *Shurg*

Trivial bug - just a bit annoying.  Now I have to choose
which prettiness I like most. :)
