Can you try with the version of pirut in the updates-testing repository and see
if you still have thi sproblem?

Sorry, that it took so long - I was not in my office last week.
But today I installed the package 'pirut-1.3.31-1.fc8.noarch.rpm'.

I'm not sure whether I can do a helpfull testing: I did not manage, to reproduce
the crash with the old version. But I will try.

Okay, goign to close it as fixed in 1.3.1 -- please reopen if you continue to
have further problems
