Summary: * Bug 253295: UEFI support (kernel) * Bug 451737: Bootloader Portion of UEFI Support * Bug 451734: Grub Portion of UEFI Support UEFI support is in Fedora, but it has received virtually no testing. Until we have worked the bugs out upstream, there is no way we can risk RHEL stability for this feature. Development Management has reviewed and declined this request. You may appeal this decision by reopening this request. Per Denise, we want to stabilize uEFI support in Fedora and RHEL6 first and then consider back porting it to RHEL5. The earliest this would be is RHEL5.5 assuming everything is stable in the RHEL6 beta by then. This is a major multi-partner requirement and can not be a RHEL6 only implementation. Partners need to continue to provide BIOS boot capability in RHEL5.
RHEL6 will support uEFI.
