Description of problem:
Eog and gThumb have same name in context-menu of any image in russian locale. It
is "Просмотр изображений" which is right translation, but would be very good to
have them different.

After looking how it is named in other languages, my suggestion is to add
"(gThumb)" at the end, i.e. "Просмотр изображений (gThumb)".

I've reported bug upstream and they fixed it in trunk.
