Description Brian Long 2008-07-03 13:47:04 UTC
Description of problem:
When IOS is upgraded from 12.4(11)T to 12.4(15)T, vpnc 0.4.0 will not connect.
It gives the error:
vpnc: response was invalid [2]: (ISAKMP_N_INVALID_PAYLOAD_TYPE)(1)

This is discussed in online forums and vpnc 0.5.1 seems to fix the issue. I'm
running 0.5.1 on Fedora 9 and I can connect with vpnc, but vpnc 0.4.0 on RHEL 5
will not connect. Please update Fedora EPEL vpnc to the latest version.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
vpnc-0.4.0-2.el5

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Upgrade IOS to 12.4(15)T
2. Try connecting with vpnc 0.4.0

Actual results:
Fails

Expected results:
vpnc 0.5.1 connects fine.
