This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 10 development cycle. Changing version to '10'. Description of problem: When bind is configured to use GSS-TSIG, like this: tkey-gssapi-credential "DNS/dns.ipatest.com"; tkey-domain "dns.ipatest.com"; And file /etc/sysconfig/named doesn't contain a path to the kerberos keytab, like this: KEYTAB_FILE="/etc/krb5.keytab" service named start command will fail without any explanation. It would be nice if named told us what's wrong. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): bind-9.5.0-33.P1.fc9 How reproducible: Set up bind to use GSS-TSIG, make sure the file /etc/sysconfig/named doesn't contain anything. Then try to executing service named start.
