Description Rahul Bhalerao 2008-08-13 11:42:22 UTC
Lohit series includes Hindi font which is used for multiple languages that use Devanagari script. It is better to split this font for each language as Lohit Marathi, Lohit Maithili, Lohit Kashmiri, Lohit Sindhi and Lohit Konkani etc. It would be easier to maintain the langugae specific features of the script that way. Also it would give better usability, for example Lohit Hindi will no more be the default font for Marathi locale.
