which version of NetworkManager do you have installed? NM does not pull signal strength from mobile broadband devices at this time. Some devices aren't capable of providing it, or provide it over proprietary interfaces. This is something that NM will attempt to do in the future however. This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 10 development cycle. Changing version to '10'. More information and reason for this action is here: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers/HouseKeeping do we have any updates on this?! NetworkManager-0.7.996-4.git20091002.fc12.i686 is still missing the signal strength feature for GSM networks. Fixed in F13+ and in updates-testing for F12. |
