Correction - For the 'Steps to Reproduce' 2. Run command using a non-existent host/socket : lwp-request -uxS -t 5 https://10.0.0.42/ This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion, but this component is not scheduled to be updated in the current Red Hat Enterprise Linux release. If you would like this request to be reviewed for the next minor release, ask your support representative to set the next rhel-x.y flag to "?". This long standing bug is tracked by upstream since year 2006 without success: <https://rt.cpan.org/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=22839>. And also as <https://rt.cpan.org/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=3316> since 2003. This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux release. Product Management has requested further review of this request by Red Hat Engineering, for potential inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux release for currently deployed products. This request is not yet committed for inclusion in a release. A proposed patch has been rejected upstream and there's currently no suggested fix for this issue. Furthermore, no customers seem to be interested in this at the moment. I'm closing the bug. |
