Description of problem: Platform:IBM X3650 server 64 bit,IA32e. RHEL4.5 already installed. I tried once to yum update from CentOS x86_64 4.6, it could run. But I just tried to download some package not update anthing. Then I found use this method will have a potential compatible problem. So I tried to reinstall up2date. I ran "yum remove up2date", and download follow rpm from RedHat official web: up2date-gnome-4.6.2-7.el4_6.1.x86_64.rpm up2date-4.7.1-17.el4.x86_64.rpm I installed them and set the proxy server, then an error encoutered: ****************************************************************** Error communicating with server. The message was: Error Message: Your account does not have access to any channels matching (release='4', arch='ia32e-redhat-linux') If you have a registration number, please register with it first at http://www.redhat.com/apps/activate/ and then try again.
