Description Martin Kuhnke 2008-09-04 13:59:30 UTC
Description of problem:
I've tried to install the the printer Canon LBP2900i. The process ccp is unable to write into the fifo, because of a SELinux policy (Attachment). I've compiled the local.te and created a policy package, but the module cannot be installed with semodule -i local.pp (Command not found). The packages checkpolicy and audit are installed. Also I have no /tmp/avcs for easy creation of a policy package. At last I don't know how to start /etc/init.d/ccpd after booting.

Installed printer driver packages:
cndrvcups-common-1.60-1.i386.rpm
cndrvcups-capt-1.60-1.i386.rpm

The printer driver v1.30 worked with Debian 4 "Etch"

You need to install the policycoreutils package in order to run semodule. Please do that.
