so actually, it looks like it is searching custom errata, it's just not re-indexing it very often (or at all).

Reindexing is on a 5 minute interval, so if you add a new errata, system, etc, it's going to be 5 minutes or more until it'll be indexed by the search server.  

Wes tried this out on an install from git (pre sw 0.4), it looks OK, so I'm going to close this BZ.
