Description of problem:On booting after f9 update get Uhhuh. NMI received for unknown reason b0

Actual results:During boot get kernel message:

Expected results:

Should not get NMI received. This message was not there during boot until today after updates.

By the way the machine continues to boot after the Uhhuh message, and I can login normally to the Gnome desktop, BUT there is no sound during login to the desktop as there was before these updates.

Other than that I have not found a problem yet, so I don't know how serious the effect of this message might be?

After powering off completely and starting from cold this problem has not recurred.

Also I have now updated to kernel 2.6.26.3-29.fc9.i686 and there has also been no further recurrence... so am closing this bug.

Sorry for the noise as I can't diagnose any further.
