Description of problem:
An empty window without title bar and borders appears after launching Skype in the upper-left corner of the desktop. In this window, the other windows below aren't rendered whereas the menus are, but the screen isn't refreshed when they're closed.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Gnome 2.22.3

How reproducible:
Just launch Skype and log-in with Metacity compositing enabled.

Expected results:
The window shouldn't appear.

Comment 1 Emanuele Bellini 2008-09-12 14:00:38 UTC
Closing Skype the window disappears.
In other distributions, like Ubuntu, this doesn't happen.

Comment 2 Emanuele Bellini 2008-09-12 21:48:54 UTC
It seems to work fine with the latest update. I'll take some time to try it, then maybe I'll close this thread.
