Description Ed Avis 2008-09-13 11:24:55 UTC
Start Firefox in Fedora 9 and click on an Ogg video file, such as <http://stallman.org/fry/sf-large.ogv>. Firefox says this is an 'OLV file' and does not know what application to open it with. However, if you save the file and then double-click on it in Firefox's Downloads window, it correctly plays in Totem.

I guess that adding some missing MIME-type association would let you just click on the link to download and play the video (even if you had to wait for the whole file to download before any starts playing, that's still an improvement).

The web server advertises the file as "text/plain". Tell Richard to configure his website properly :)
