Description Ian Kent 2008-09-15 03:41:13 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #448468 +++

Description of problem:
When program maps are executed they do not have the pwd set to the pwd of the mount.

There is a patch
http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/daemons/autofs/v5/autofs-5.0.1-set-pwd-on-prog-map-exec.patch

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
autofs-5.0.1-0.rc2.55

How reproducible:
Every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Actual results:
pwd is always /

Expected results:
The same behaviour as autofs-4 which is to set the directory before running the
map program.

Additional info:
It seems this is fixed in the upstream autofs-5.0.2

Your right.
This patch was missed by me.
But nobody reported the issue either.

Is there a test build or fastrack version available that we can try out?

Not yet.

I'm not quite finished collating the patches I'm proposing
for RHEL-5.3 which may influence the order in which this
patch is applied.

This bug now has the ACKS needed for me to be able to commit
the change to CVS and build a package so I'll get to it as
soon as I can.
