Description Benjamin Lewis 2008-09-19 07:03:14 UTC
Description of problem:
The switchspell.so module is incorrectly marked as requiring an executable stack

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
purple-plugin_pack-pidgin-2.3.0-1.fc9.i386

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. yum install purple-plugin_pack-pidgin
2. load pidgin
3. notice AVC denial

Actual results:
There is an AVC denial from SELinux (if the "execstack" bool is set) and the module does not load (all others do, however)

Expected results:
No denial, module loads and SElinux and friends are happy

Additional info:
The library does not need an executable stack and so has been marked in error
