Description Jon Stanley 2008-09-23 04:14:39 UTC
nfsiso install of 20080922 rawhide fails. When you give the NFS directory, it attempts to mount <dir>/images and use install.img from there.

The actual content of the directory are:

Fedora-20080922-x86_64-disc1.iso Fedora-20080922-x86_64-disc4.iso Fedora-20080922-x86_64-disc7.iso
Fedora-20080922-x86_64-disc2.iso Fedora-20080922-x86_64-disc5.iso
Fedora-20080922-x86_64-disc3.iso Fedora-20080922-x86_64-disc6.iso

I had attempted to move all of the iso's into an 'images' subdirectory, but the behavior of looking for install.img continues (and the error message changes from couldn't mount to it's not a valid Fedora tree)

Right, this is expected behavior now. If you want to do an NFSISO install, you either need to create the images/ directory at the same level as your ISO images and put install.img in there, or boot the target machine with boot.iso. We are no longer exploding the ISO images and looking inside them for the install.img.
