Description Enrique Gomezdelcampo 2008-10-01 17:23:31 UTC
Description of problem:
I have a HP pavilion zd7000 running Fedora 8. I updated to the latest kernel (2.6.26.3-14.fc8) and then every time that I turn on the laptop and choose that kernel it starts to go through the boot up process and it hangs right after the following line:

isapnp: No Plug & Play device found.

It just hangs there. There is no error message, it justs stops there. I have to hold the on/off button until the laptop is off. It does this every time I choose that kernel from the Grub menu. The other kernel (2.6.25.14-69.fc8) boots up without a problem.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kernel-2.6.26.3-14.fc8

How reproducible:
always, every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1. boot PC
2.
3.

Actual results:
it hangs on the line described above

Expected results:
boot, actually
