Is this on target for a particular KVM release?

Changing component to "kvm", since it's not a xen userspace issue.

iirc we do support vt-d even with rhel5.4, the main issue is hardware certification for the assigned devices. Can you please provide additional info for the devices? NIC should be easy, Graphic card will need additional work
