There exists pound 2.4 in F9. However in recent versions some things like
"fixed problem with back-end killing on failed connect" (2.4.2) were added. Would a new version be possible to ship?

Pound-2.4.3-1.fc9 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 9.

Pound-2.4.3-1.fc9 has been pushed to the Fedora 9 testing repository.  If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
