Forgot to mention, the previous kernel version from an update I ran last weekend was 2.6.27-3.fc10.i686. That version works fine... in fact, I'm running it now. This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 10 development cycle. Changing version to '10'. More information and reason for this action is here: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers/HouseKeeping Mark, Could you confirm this bug exists in F10 as released ? Yes. I think this may be the same problem as bug #465684. I can work around it by adding the "console=ttyS0,9600" line to the kernel boot options. I just ran a yum update today, and I still need to do this for the newest kernel (2.6.27.12-170.2.5.fc10.i686). Mark, I'm closing this as duplicate of the other bug, since you're using the same machine and need the same workaround. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 465684 *** |
