Comment 1 Bug Zapper 2008-11-26 04:09:36 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 10 development cycle.
Changing version to '10'.

More information and reason for this action is here:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers/HouseKeeping

Comment 2 Matt McCutchen 2009-09-02 23:08:20 UTC
It's still there on my Fedora 11 system. Someone please bump the version.

Comment 3 Bug Zapper 2009-11-18 08:38:01 UTC
This message is a reminder that Fedora 10 is nearing its end of life.
Approximately 30 (thirty) days from now Fedora will stop maintaining
and issuing updates for Fedora 10. It is Fedora's policy to close all
bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time
this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora
'version' of '10'.

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you
plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version'
to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 10's end of life.

Bug Reporter: Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that
we may not be able to fix it before Fedora 10 is end of life. If you
would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it
against a later version of Fedora please change the 'version' of this
bug to the applicable version. If you are unable to change the version,
please add a comment here and someone will do it for you.

Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's
lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a
more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes
bugs or makes them obsolete.

The process we are following is described here:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers/HouseKeeping

Comment 4 Matt McCutchen 2009-11-18 16:32:28 UTC
Come on, someone please bump the version to 11 so I don't have to enter a new bug.

Sure. (Checked, still there in Fedora 12)

Still there in current rawhide

Comment 8 Aravind vijayan 2012-01-07 02:32:25 UTC
The same problem explained in 641022 as:

> [root@dhcp-2 debug]# ls -ld /usr/src/debug/tmp
> drwxrwxrwt 2 root root 4096 Sep 16 20:02 /usr/src/debug/tmp
> [root@dhcp-2 debug]# rpm -qf /usr/src/debug/tmp
> python-debuginfo-2.7-8.fc14.1.x86_64
> [root@dhcp-2 debug]# rpm -V python-debuginfo-2.7-8.fc14.1.x86_64
> [root@dhcp-2 debug]#

Comment 9 Fedora End Of Life 2013-04-03 18:15:36 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 19 development cycle.
Changing version to '19'.

(As we did not run this process for some time, it could affect also pre-Fedora 19 development
cycle bugs. We are very sorry. It will help us with cleanup during Fedora 19 End Of Life. Thank you.)

Comment 10 Robin Lee 2014-06-11 13:52:19 UTC
persist in gcc-debuginfo-4.8.2-7.fc20.i686

This message is a reminder that Fedora 20 is nearing its end of life.
Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining
and issuing updates for Fedora 20. It is Fedora's policy to close all
bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time
this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a Fedora 'version'
of '20'.

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you
plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version'
to a later Fedora version.

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we were not
able to fix it before Fedora 20 is end of life. If you would still like
to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version
of Fedora, you are encouraged change the 'version' to a later Fedora
version prior this bug is closed as described in the policy above.
