Description of problem:

I used to get a grub.conf entry for the Windows partition on a dual boot machine.  Not with today's rawhide.
# fdisk -l /dev/sda

Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes

Sorry, this was my bad.  Windows partition was present, but not a proper filesystem.
