Description of problem:
When I select a search folder, evolution show a negative number of unread mail or show unread mail when no unread mail exist.

Thanks for reporting this. There is an upstream bug [1] for the issue, the developers make an effort to fix it there, thus I'll close this as upstream. Feel free to add yourself to the upstream bug to see changes.
