unhappy rawhide boot

Booting rawhide on a Thinkpad T42 via PXE has been failing for me for the past two days. The last message I see is:

Probing EDD (edd=off to disable)... ok

And then it stops. The caps lock light starts to flash and that's it.

Booting with edd=off does not do much either.

Attaching a photo (which isn't very useful, but I like to play with the camera).

Do you get any output if you add 'earlyprintk=vga' to the boot options?

Comment 2 David Cantrell 2008-11-20 22:17:11 UTC
I added earlyprintk=vga and it's working fine now, boots right in to the installer. I tried it without that boot argument and it's still working fine, so I guess whatever changed in the past day or so fixed things up.

Thanks.
