I just noticed that this problem does not exist in Ubuntu 8.04, if that's any clue. One more comment from me: I tried the latest bluez build from koji, and it seems to have made the trick for me. So, I guess this bug was already solved. I'll make sure to make it a practice, to always check with koji before reporting bugs... Great stuff, closing the bug now. |
Description of problem: On an Asus N20A, the bluetooth device seems to have problems to reconnect to already paired devices after reboots (a bluetooth mouse in this particular case). After each reboot, I need to remove the bluetooth mouse from the list of known devices and readd it. The output of lsusb follows below. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. pair laptop with bluetooth mouse 2. reboot laptop 3. Actual results: The bluetooth mouse does not work. Instead one has to remove the mouse from "known devices" in the gnome bluetooth applet, and re-pair it. Expected results: Mouse works after reboot.
