Description Jacob Hunt 2008-12-06 17:27:50 UTC
Description of problem:

Evolution is configured for imap and the "Drafts" folder is defaulted to the imap server. When switching to off-line mode and composing an email, when attempting to save an email to the "Drafts" folder it appears to save without any errors. The email closes but is _not_ saved to the "Drafts" folder.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

evolution-data-server-2.24.2-1.fc10.x86_64

Fedora 10
2.6.27.5-117.fc10.x86_64

How reproducible:

every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Evolution
2. Switch to off-line mode
3. Compose email
4. Save to "Drafts"

Actual results:

Email doesn't save to "Drafts"

Expected results:

An error should at least pop up to specify that the imap server is not available and give you the option to save the email to the local computer.

Thanks for the bug report. I can reproduce this too. As long as I'm in an offline mode, I can see the message in the IMAP's Drafts folder (I've applied fix for bug #472838), but when going online the message disappears.

I'm moving this upstream, it'll be better to have it fixed there. Please see [1] for further updates.
