Description Dan Nicholson 2008-12-08 17:03:13 UTC
The i915modeset modprobe.d file is unnecessary with newer versions of module-init-tools. Starting with module-init-tools-3.4.1, modprobe will look at the kernel command line for module parameters. This version of m-i-t is in F10 and rawhide. So, the i915modeset file can be dropped for those releases since it's just adding extra work when loading i915. To be paranoid, you could add:

Conflicts: module-init-tools < 3.4.1
