Description Daniel Bass 2008-12-10 21:16:30 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.4) Gecko/2008111318 Ubuntu/8.10 (intrepid) Firefox/3.0.4

In virt-manager, when the mouse is grabbed, "Press Ctrl+Alt to release pointer." is added to the window title. This makes it excessively long and can hide the most useful piece of information, the VM name. I believe this information should be in ONE of the menu bar, the toolbar, or a (new) status bar (with my preference being in that order).

Reproducible: Always

The proper place for this to be would be a status bar at the bottom. However we aren't going to add one just for the message, so changing this bug to track the actual work that would be needed.

This is a nice idea but give the UI dev resources allocated to virt-manager I don't really expect this to ever happen. UI patterns have come a long way in the past 10 years anyways so if we were going to devote resources to this the first thing to do would get a designer to give it a fresh look.

Regardless this bug isn't going to accomplish anything
