Description Tim Niemueller 2008-12-12 12:45:29 UTC
Description of problem:
When opening my home directory in spatial browsing mode and then just start typing to search for a specific file/directory nautilus segfaults on the very first letter.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
nautilus-2.24.2-1.fc10.x86_64

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on "Home" directory on desktop
2. Start typing to search for a directory

Actual results:
Nautilus segfaults.

Expected results:
No segfault and nautilus jumps to the first match found

Additional info:
F-10 with everything from updates and updates-testing. Is dbus involved in this? After all the dbus hassle it's now one of the usual suspects...

Seems not to be a nautilus bug but a more general problem, see bug #476203. Closing this here then as I could fix this by re-installing the gtk2 package.
