Description of problem:

yum install uuid-devel.i386 uuid-devel.x86_64

yields:

  file /usr/bin/uuid-config conflicts between attempted installs of uuid-devel-1.6.1-3.fc9.x86_64 and uuid-devel-1.6.1-3.fc9.i386

Still present in F11 with uuid-devel-1.6.1-4.fc11:

  file /usr/bin/uuid-config conflicts between attempted installs of uuid-devel-1.6.1-4.fc11.x86_64 and uuid-devel-1.6.1-4.fc11.i586

Still present in F12 with uuid-devel-1.6.1-8.fc12.

Unfortunately it seems it's not possible to fix this bug. Conflicting file is script that should be called to get compiler flags. These flags are different for 32bit and 64bit, but I'm not aware of any way how to check what version of flags calling script wants. So I'm closing this bug as CANTIFX. Patches are welcome.
