USB MOBLIE Modem not working after pacakage upgrade

Just to add a bit of content - around the same time this bug was reporting, my CDMA PC card stopped working. 

I do note that /var/log/messages shows this as ttyUSB0 while I believe it was formerly referred to as ttyACM0. I have heard complaints from multiple other people as well with different cards. 

Please let me know what additional steps you wish taken to provide debugging information.

This was likely caused by a driver changes in the kernel that are being reverted in the latest kernel stable updates.  Can you post the output of '/sbin/lsusb -v' for me to be sure that's the case for you?  It specifically affected 3 Pantech modems, 2 CardBus and one USB (UM150).
