Description Giancarlo 2008-12-27 18:08:57 UTC
Description of problem:
Fedora 10 can' t reduce the cpu speed on the eeepc 701 ( it work on other linux distribution, i tested ubuntu and mandriva )
this cause a very fast reduce of the battery ( 1:30 to 2 hours )

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. right click on one of the two gnome panel
2. add applet
3. add the cpu monitor for change-frequence

Actual results:
the applet return error because fedora 10 ( i think also 9, etc.. ) can' t change the cpu-frequence ( i think that is an powermanger problem )

Expected results:
well, will be nice if fedora fix it just on the fedora 10, so the eeepc can work 2 hours more... ( the double )

Additional info:
there are a lot of this eeepc 701...
