Description Richard Fontana 2008-12-31 19:06:33 UTC
Description of problem:

Legal Notice in MRG Grid Installation Guide incorrectly states the license as Open Publication License + additional restrictions. In accordance with Red Hat documentation licensing policy, this must be changed so that those additional restrictions are removed.

I.e.: change

Mike,

Can I please have guidance on how to go about this?

Many thanks,
Lana

Comment 2 Richard Fontana 2009-01-05 00:55:24 UTC
Lana, Mike:

It should be straightforward:

1) Remove all public-facing versions of the document with the incorrect licensing notice.

2) Re-generate the document using the correct licensing notice and replace accordingly. If my understanding of your document-generation toolchain is correct, this step should be trivial for all documentation created using it.

3) For future revisions of the document, use a licensing notice only if it has been explicitly authorized by Red Hat Legal Affairs.

Thanks,
Richard Fontana

Mike has confirmed that changes to the legal notices will occur when the new redhat.com/docs site goes live.
