This defect considered SHOULD-FIX for Fairfax gold-release. Please provide a test case, or at least some more details (which app, etc) gtv (from smpeg), playing pretty much any MPEG video file. I'm guessing you may have to turn off xvideo support in the xserver (or run it on a machine without HW Xv support) to see this. 1.2.2 should fix this. I see the same problem still with SDL 1.2.2-1 from rawhide when using gtv/plaympeg. Video card is ATI Rage Mobility on a pIII/600 laptop in case that matters... I'll try poking around with the SDL_VIDEO_YUV_xxx options and gdb a bit to see what happens... Yup, it does recur for me with plaympeg. Haven't tried it with the original app that showed the segfault, though. |
