I'm guessing gnome-power-manager fails if you run it in a terminal, right? I get the following: I:05:11:43 TH:0x14c15a0 FI:gpm-main.c FN:main,207 - Power Manager is already running in this session. Traceback: gnome-power-manager [0x4079a9] gnome-power-manager [0x41576d] /lib64/libc.so.6(__libc_start_main+0xe6) [0x3c7121e5c6] gnome-power-manager [0x407109] I am getting many of these messages: localhost gnome-session[3375]: WARNING: Unable to find desktop file 'gnome-gnome-power-manager.desktop.desktop': Valid key file could not be found in search dirs and when I try to logout, there is a message saying gnome-power-manager.desktop is still running. Can you try installing https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/F11/FEDORA-2009-5740. Thanks. Yay, with gnome-power-manager-2.26.2-1.fc11.x86_64 I am no longer seeing the originally reported message. Keith, if you are still experiencing those problems, you'll probably want to open a separate bug or two. This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 11 development cycle. Changing version to '11'.
