Description of problem:

Please build jabberd for EPEL 5.

The Spacewalk project is interested in moving from our own version of jabberd to something more standard, so if the package was in EPEL maintained by the Fedora maintainer, it would be great.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Which ever makes sense for EPEL 5. 2.0-0.s11.11 from F6, or 2.2.4-1 from F10.

Additional info:

Please let me know, if you just don't want to be the maintainer for the 
jabberd EPEL packages.

Can be done. It needs a few dependencies in EPEL first. Especially gsasl is important and udns. I can handle udns. If you could get gsasl in EPEL and then let me know here, I can get jabberd into EPEL.

I've asked libgsasl's maintainer to branch for EPEL (bugzilla 480347).

Adrian, libgsasl-0.2.29-1.el5 has now been built.

For EPEL it usually gets pushed to the repository after a certain time. I think we are done here.
