Description Matthew Saltzman 2009-01-28 15:31:16 UTC
Description of problem:
The machine suspends to RAM properly when the lid is closed and the suspend indicator LED is lit. But when the lid is opened, the machine boots from cold start instead of resuming. The machine is a ThinkPad T61.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kernel-2.6.27.12-170.2.5.fc10.x86_64

How reproducible:
Always.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install kernel-2.6.27.12-170.2.5.fc10.x86_64
2. Close lid to suspend
3. Open lid to resume

Actual results:
Machine cold-boots.

Expected results:
Machine resumes to saved state.

Additional info:
No problem with kernels through kernel-2.6.27.9-159.fc10.x86_64.
