With f11-alpha.2 tree:

 1) boot netinst.iso, add "console=ttyS0 vnc" to command line

 2) Network config screen appears, select DHCP

 3) If it fails, and you click retry the loader segvs

Odd, just re-tested and it doesn't segv.
