Description of problem:
When headphone is inserted in headphone jack on Dell Studio 1737 (laptop). The speakers remain on. Sound from speakers can manually be adjusted though "speaker" setting mixer with out adjusting headphone audio.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kernel-firmware-2.6.29-0.118.rc5.fc11.noarch
alsa-plugins-pulseaudio-1.0.18-2.fc11.x86_64
kernel-headers-2.6.29-0.118.rc5.fc11.x86_64
kernel-2.6.29-0.118.rc5.fc11.x86_64
alsa-utils-1.0.19-3.fc11.x86_64
libcaptury-0.3.0-0.2.20080323gitcca4e3c.fc11.x86_64
alsa-lib-1.0.19-2.fc10.x86_64
alsa-lib-1.0.19-2.fc10.i386

How reproducible:
On stock upgraded KDE F10 install update upgrade to F11 kernel and alsa.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. play sound
2. plug in headphone

Actual results:
Speaker sound is not muted

Expected results:
Speaker sound should be automatically muted

Additional info:
-On just a stock F10 install, the front headphone jack mutes all sound, but does not play through headphones. The back headphone jack plays sound but does not mute the speakers, and there is no adjustment for speaker volume. F11 components are an improvement.

-Sound works as expected as above on Ubuntu 8.10, but works as expected on a ubuntu 9.04 alpha.
