Description of problem:
On a laptop upgraded from F10 to Rawhide, Conduit takes up all the CPU time on desktop startup.

The splash image appeared and the main application didn't appear until I pressed Control-C in the terminal window.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 11 development cycle.
Changing version to '11'.
