Need Real Name

Can't reproduce this using the password $m$sux and the normal KDE screen locking mechanisms. If you can find a reproducable way of producing this error, please add this information. I have encountered the problem on five different systems (6.2 and 7.1), in all cases on the root account. The password in question was 8 characters long, beginning with a $, followed by 6 lower case chars and ending with an exclamation mark. Also, the problem is not present in Linux Mandrake, whatever that has got to do with it... Please verify this with a newer version of Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Fedora Core and reopen it against the new version if it still occurs. Closing as "CURRENTRELEASE" for now. |
