Hm, we don't do this for any other -static packages. But I could see glibc being a special case. This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 11 development cycle. Changing version to '11'. More information and reason for this action is here: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers/HouseKeeping On further thought, considering how much we try and avoid supporting static binaries, I'm not sure we need to do this for now. I admit I needed a few times to grab by hand glibc-static of the other arch, e.g. to test 32-bit prelink on x86_64 box. But it wasn't just glibc-static, but also elfutils-libelf-devel-static, libselinux-static, etc. |
