Did you try to replace the defective wodim by the official software? See ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/cdrecord/alpha/ and http://cdrecord.berlios.de Only after you replace mkinitrd by something legal that doesn't mix CDDL and GPL code. s/mkinitrd/mkisofs/ Please do not pollute the bug tracking system with useless FUD. Well, you _are_ currently using illegal software...... Redhat currently publishes a fork that is in conflict with the Copyright law and thus cannot be legally distributed. The original software however did have a in depth legal review from several different lawyers and none of them did find any problem. Redhat and you are both vitims of an anti-OSS acting person who started as a non-cooperative downstream package maintainer and later started to attack OSS projects. This message is a reminder that Fedora 10 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 30 (thirty) days from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 10. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '10'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 10's end of life. Have 2 DVD / CD drives; tried both. both did not work Hint: green led does not start burning when trying to burn Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 0.8.4 How reproducible: Use brasero tu burn DVD (or any other package to burn DVD) Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
